Below is a small message that I have prepared for the purpose of witnessing to the lost. I am going to send it by email, and create a leaflet to drop into mail boxes around my area. I have posted the message here so that you can help me reach the lost in your area as well. Print it out or make leaflets if you know how. Be as creative as you want, but help get the message out either by emailing it, dropping it into mail boxes in your area, or pining it up on public notice boards, public toilets or anything else you may think of. with a leaflet I suggest you use a different page for each of the questions. Use pictures or whatever you want. You can just print it out on paper and drop that into letter boxes. Its only one page. Just do not ad to it or take anything away from it. Its a good way to witness for Christ and we can all do our bit. Do what you can, nothing more, nothing less. Together lets do it for Him, our Lord as well as theirs.

quote:

Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. (John 6:53)

Let me propose this question to you. “How important is food?” Let me answer that for you.
Everybody in this world needs food to survive. No matter how rich or how poor. No matter how powerful or how unimportant. No matter how famous or how infamous. No one can survive without the need for food. Everybody alive today no matter how young, or how old, is here today because they have had their daily bread. The president of the United States as well as the man living on the street, both need the same nutritional requirements to live, and both will equally die without them. We can survive without almost anything else, but besides air and warmth, we cannot continue to exist without food. I have heard people say at the supermarket, “If only we did not need to eat, we would have plenty of money.” Food is essentially the most important thing in life.
Its no wonder then that Jesus used this metaphor to describe his sacrificial death on the cross, as the only thing that can sustain our relationship with God and eternal life. Food can sustain our bodies but it cannot stop us from growing old and dying. So then we need a certain kind of food that can deliver us from our inevitable death. Jesus said, “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.” (John 11:25)

So my second question to you is this, “how important is Christ?”
Let me answer this for you. Do you want to have eternal life? Do you want to be raised from the dead unto eternal life? Or do you want to perish into outer darkness, and forever be separated from the Lord. Christians will ever be with the Lord. (1 Thessalonians 4:17) While those without Christ will be forever separated from Him. Food cannot deliver us from the second death, but only Christ can. So then Christ is more important to our life then food. He is the most important thing in our lives.

Let me ask you a third question. “How hungry are you?”
That is something that only you can answer. Do you hunger for this living bread that has come down from heaven, do you feast Upon this bread daily? Every time you eat and every time you drink, I want you to remember that Christ is more important to your life then the food you are consuming. If you do not feast upon the body and blood of Christ, you have no life in you. If you hunger for true life, for more then what we have here then Christ is the only one who can satisfy the longing of your soul. For only in Him can you be made alive. Jesus said,” I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. “ (John 6:35)

My final question then is, “Who can live without Christ?” The answer is nobody. Just as every person on this planet needs food to survive so they also need Christ to live immortal. How then do we feed upon Christ flesh and blood.? Well we need to understand His death on the cross and what it means to every man woman and child. Jesus died on the cross for every man woman and child. “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” (John 1:29) We need to behold Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith. (Hebrews 5:9 and 12:2) We need to believe in Him. (John 6:28-29)
Jesus paid the penalty for your sins, and everybody has sinned. (Romans 3:23-26) Just as the stomach needs food, so the sinner needs a savior, and the lost sheep a Shepard.

May then your feasting every day, ever remind you of that living bread which came down from heaven to us, and for us. (John 6:48-51) Jesus is the King who serves His subjects, who fights for them, and who died for them. Could we ever ask for a better king?(1 Samuel 8:5-22) By accepting Christ, we are accepting God to be a king over us. But by rejecting Christ we are rejecting God and so do ourselves the greatest of harm. Much more harm then if we were to stop eating and drinking. It would mean certain death for our eternal souls. The choice is your, and yours alone.
