Yeay! I was watching part of the House marathon, and I can't wait either. Makes all the other shows seem real bad by comparison.

Yep, same ole House. Doesn't look like Wilson is gone this season. I don't know how he's going to deal w/ House bothering him. This is the strangest love/hate relationship I've ever seen. kd

Dr Wilson isn't gone for good. But yes the relationship between House/Cuddy/Wilson is extremely interesting. I guess its dysfunctional.

It should be up for online episode viewing in a week. I would note that anything involving House is at least somewhat dysfunctional. ;)

Gee, I wonder if that's why we like it so much. It's too true to life, maybe! kd

House is my favorite show! Unfortunately I have class on Tuesday nights, so I have to watch it online or the rerun marathons.

I tape it, or watch it online. I wish Fox had on demand. :( Because I have to wait a week before I can watch it online. I am so excited though.

Glad that House wanted best director last night, but disappointed they didn't clean up. W/ all the hype about basic cable & the show Mad Men I knew there wasn't much of a chance. As long as House is on the board that's okay. kd

Mad Men is one dismal show. With House, occasionally there are glimmers of hope...if not with House himself, with other characters. Every time I've tried to watch Mad Men, the characters are so awful that I emotionally distance myself from the story. My theory on the Emmys is that they tend to honor what they consider as "insider" and/or people that are practically institutions in the business. Mad Men for some reason qualifies as "insider," perhaps because it's about the advertising industry (very closely related to the television industry) and set in a time that many of the "insiders" started in television. So you will see a Jean Smart get a supporting actress award instead of, for example, a Kristen Chenworth. The academy year after year, gives multiple nominations to "Boston Legal" - because of Candice Bergan and William Shatner. And Battlestar Galactica will never win a major award like writing, because the academy thinks sci-fi shows are too "genre" and not enough mainstream. House squeaks through because it has been on the air for several years now (and it is one of the better written shows on TV). Although...Hugh Laurie has never won best actor, has he? And, really, he should. And there always has to be some "class act" show of the year...this time it was John Adams. Which deserved it. Maybe HBO will finally realize that it doesn't have to spike up shows to make them TV-MA in order to get ratings and awards.

Hugh Laurie did win, I believe it was his first time out. I totally agree w/ what you are saying. I personally am getting to where I can't stand the show for all its liberalism. It was just plain annoying last night. I think it's time to be even more glad for nominations, it looks like. We would probably have to be very concerned if they won. kd

Did you get the idea that Cuddy really didn't know what was going on? That look on her face made me think that, but she wasn't going to let that be known. Something makes me think she kinda digs that guy! Seeing the ending makes me think that House will have a new friend & won't have to go into severe depression after all! Do look forward to next week seeing Wilson have to take House to the funeral! That should be interesting! I think dad died too soon. There are some conversations that still needed to come out w/ him & Gregory. Maybe we'll get more details at the funeral. kd

our VCR did not work last night, so I missed it again. :( So I have to wait till next week to find out what happens. What a bummer. I hope it does not happen every other week when we have class.
