Ed and Bill's recent trip to Europe went very well, ON stage.
Off stage they had some problems. Bill's wife, Dorcas, fell their first day there and broke her arm. She is in a serious cast. She requires Bill's constant care as she is currently very restricted in what she can do.
They would greatly appreciate your prayer support.
Our TV shoot was postponed a few days due to several technical issues. Kathy and I are currently in Nashville to continue our PROPHETS rehearsals for the show. We had a fantastic practice session on Monday afternoon at Eddie Crook's home. We added several tunes to our list of songs for future shows. They included, HOW GREAT THOU ART, HE DID IT ALL FOR ME, THE LONGER I SERVE HIM, THAT SOUNDS LIKE HOME TO ME, & JESUS WILL OUTSHINE THEM ALL. Worked on arrangements for all of these.
We had several moments today where the Glory of God fell on us and we could not continue singing.
What a blessing to be part of such a group!
Kathy has just awakened with a very sore throat. I hope it is nothing serious. Please pray for her. Our rehearsals are scheduled to continue today (Tue).

Thanks for your prayers...in spite of many obstacles, The Prophets
had an outstanding rehearsal on Tuesday.
Kathy and I are safely back in AR. My Mom's surgery is
scheduled for noon today...Wednesday.

Mom's surgery was a total success, according to her surgeon.
Already in a private room. No ventilator needed. Her BP and
all other vitals have been excellent.
Thank you for praying for her. She now begins
the long recovery. She is dealing with a lot of pain.
That is to be expected with major abdominal surgery.

Great news Paul! We'll keep praying for a fast as possible and comfortable as possible recovery.
My wife had a 11 and a half hour abdominal surgery 3 years ago this month and it was a journey of small steps that took a lot of patience. Nearly a year to get back all her stamina but she and I know she would not be here now if she hadn't had it.
Keep smiling! God is in control!

Thank you DONNA, DANA & DINANA...
It was a real blessing to Mom when I told her that my
SN friends were praying for her. She said that she could
feel the prayers of God's people. She told me to thank all of you.
She sat in a chair today, for an hour. Moved around a little bit.
Will start walking Friday morning. She is pretty confident about
her prospects.
Your words are an encouragement to me.

Paul it is so good to hear the reports on your mom. God is amazing. I still sit in wonder at how he would listen to someone like me when I pray. I am so unworthy but thank God for his grace and Mercy and for listen when his children talk even if we sometimes misbehave.

Thanks Sam for that encouragement.
You will probably really enjoy the soundtracks or DVD's
from our TV show. They will be available soon.
Will have a heavy emphasis on Hymns and Standards
along with some vintage Prophets tunes.
HOW GREAT THOU ART, HE TOUCHED ME, WORKING ON A BUILDING,
SHELTERED IN THE ARMS OF GOD, LITTLE IS MUCH, THE LONGER I
SERVE HIM, HE SET ME FREE, LORD I'M COMING HOME, WHEN THE
SAINTS GO MARCHING IN, MANSION OVER THE HILLTOP,
etc, etc, etc...ALL with EC at the piano as our only acc.
How do they say it? 4 guys and a piano!
We will even have several songs from our Cd that we perform that way, for TV and these products.
Anyway...SAM, You are a blessing to me brother!Thanks for your prayers for us and for Mom. She is doing great!
Dr's are amazed. Will probably go home tomorrow. Amen.

It now looks like the soonest Mom can come home will be Wednesday.
Pray on...please. One of my blessings to be thankful about this season is all the new prayer partners that I have found thru my association with THE PROPHETS.
All of the guys in our group have expressed appreciation for the prayers and expressions of support that are made for us here in the forums. The guys don't post here very much...but I happen to know that some of them lurk quite often.
Seems that the main reason for the forums is to give people a place to chat about their opinions. That is all harmless enough. But the best thing about this venue is the genuine Christianity often demonstrated here.
Thanks again for caring about those of us that "Carry the Glorious Gospel" through our songs.

Glad your Mom made it home for Thanksgiving. Know she is glad to be out of the hopsital. Praying that her health returns to normal so she can keep you straight.
