I really do like Memories Made New. I guess I've listened to it 3 or 4 times now all the way through. Nothing earth shattering with this CD - just solid harmony on some beloved old songs. Really nice listening.

Yeah, he could!
"How Big is God" is one of the few songs on there that, IMO, the DEs own right now. Pat Barker's arrangement is just perfect for his voice. Of course, Mike Allen's so good he can sing practically anything.

It's a 1968 reissue of songs recorded between 1925 and 1930 by the original Stamps Quartet - songs like "Give the World a Smile.," ""He Bore it All," and "Singing In My Soul." It's a fun trip down memory lane!

AMEN to ALL of that. We would have to do something different with it than they do. Pat is awesome! Mike and I were together when we heard them do it at GOGR. We were both awed by it all...but if MA wants to do it, he sure can! amen!

Maybe you could change things up entirely and feature Bill Baize. I think he'd sound great on it.
