Well SS Roy need sto put on 5-10 more pds and become a LB. He couldn't cover Witten going deep.
SS Roy is well liked but evryone knows he can't cover anybody deep.
He is a weak link defensively as Romo is a weak link offensively.

The Cowboys couldn't stink any worse than they did today.
Rigth now I think the thing needed most is a coach with a steel toe boot. And willing to kick and and kick alot.

Intersting Games Yesterday
Pack beating Colts
Rams over Cowboys
Was dissapointed to see how the niners played. I know that there wasn't a good chance of winning I was just hopeing for a good game. Was on when I went to church so only saw the 4th quarter. I personelly think it is time for J.T. O Sullivan to back down as QB. He seems to be sacked alot and gets intercepted alot.
Was suprised to hear that Mike Nolan got the boot today. Don't know much bout the replacement (Mike Singleterry I think).

As a Niners fan I'd say JT O'Sullivan gives them the best chance to win if he would stop turning over the ball in critical situations. He can move the ball down the field and has shown promise if he would get his mistakes fixed. Alex Smith is an official bust. I'm sure he will be traded at the end of the year. I wasn't surprised to see Mike Nolan get the axe. He had 4 years to straighten out some of the issues with the team and the 4 game losing streak that is reminiscent of last year was the last straw.

Even though I thought that the Cowboys could win without Pinko (I mean Romo), my brother in law, who's from St. Louis, was estatic about the outcome. I wasn't too sad to see the Cowboys get thoroughly humiliated either.
Let's see, last year Jessica wears a pink jersey, this year he breaks his pinky..... I'm seeing a connection here! 
Tomorrow, when TO talks to the press   and he whines about everyone else's level of play, it will be better than a WWF soap opera. Let the finger pointing begin!

Who'd have thought the Titans would be on top of the league and SD and Dallas in the bowels? Tennesee can go 7-0 since they are playing an underperforming Colts team. Help me little bro!
Good news is my Steelers are doing good at 5-1 and the Steel Curtain is showing up in force on defense in knocking Baltimore off on total defense and against the pass and knocking on their door against the rush at #2.
My wife got me a Steelers clock and ""5 time Super Bowl Champions" flag which leaves me asking "What's with the lamp?"  Today at the high school where she teaches they had a team day and she wore her Palomalu shirt with her Steelers earrings, necklace and bracelet. It's awesome being married to a believer!
Well time for the chuckles to start from the peanut gallery as the "Great Prognosticator" goes to work.

The 49er offensive line is a joke--AFAIK, we have gone thru 4 offensive coordinators in 5 years. Singletary has the intensity and the respect of the players. Justin Smith, Patrick Willis, Nate Clemens, Arnaz Battle and Frank Gore are the bright spots for SF; too bad we wasted a 1st round pick and several million $$$ on a poor QB who is now gone.
Dallas is in for a rough year, with a porous defense.
So it looks like Rodney Harrison's career may be over; NE running back Maroni is out for the year, too.
I did not expect the Titans to be undefeated at this stage....

What a depressing game today eh. I thought we had a good shot at beating the Hawks cause they looked horable all year. But the good hawk team that everyone expected showed up today. I actually turned it off with about 6 and a half minutes left so what was the final score.

What did you think about Singleterrys first game?
Like how Singletary laid down the law after that stunt by Vernon Davis. Hopefully if he has to take further action, the York family currently owning the team will back him up instead of trying to undermine him.
Once again, I saw the problems Pittsburgh has been having all season protecting Big Ben. I know he threw 4 picks, but almost every time he dropped back, Roethlisberger got pressured. (Also have to give credit to Steve Spagnola, as the pressure on Tom Brady is probably what helped the Giants win the Super Bowl). But what surprised me was that FOX had some graphics showing how much heat Big Ben got, and I think of 30+ dropbacks, he got sacked 4 or 5 times and knocked down about 16.
As for tonight's game, no question. This is a MUST win for the Colts if they want to have a realistic shot at another AFC South crowns, because if Tennessee wins, I think the best the Colts can hope for is a wild-card.

First, congrats on your Giants beating my Steelers . We'll just have to move on!
I, like you, are pulling for the Colts but I am very skeptical they can pull off a win. Tennessee is looking too good and the Colts haven't been stellar of late.
This season has been pretty wacky! Those who should be on top are not! When the Miami Dolphins can beat teams like the Patriots, Chargers and Bills something is out of whack!
The only teams that are horrible beyond words are the Lions and Bengals but that almost seems like an unwanted tradition for those two teams!

I guess we can now say the Colts are in trouble.
They're 3-4 (first time Indy has had a losing mark this late in the season under Tony Dungy), legitimately no chance at the division title and gave up 25 unanswered points Monday night.

No QB will be successful under the heat the Giants brought Sunday and in the Super Bowl. Eli's heroics in the SB (which were incredible no doubt) don't happen if the Giants didn't put the heat on Brady.
If I was building a team the first position I would draft would be QB of course but the second would be a pass rushing defensive end or perhaps an outside linebacker who could bring the heat. The third would be a left tackle who could protect the QBs blind side. My first priority for building a defense would be pass rushing, hopefully being able to bring the heat without blitzing.

Even if you have a great QB, if the line doesn't give him the time to work his magic then he takes a pounding or has to get rid of the ball too soon, causing turnovers. (I had visions of Rothlisberger dancing in my head right now.) A good line also opens those holes for the RB to get some decent yardage too! So I'd stack my Offensive Line with the best money could buy.

I'd still take my QB before any one offensive lineman. It takes five men working together to make a good line. You need a couple of anchors but not everyone on the line has to be an All Pro for it to work well. Teamwork matters quite a bit for a good line. But good lineman are worth more than all but the very best of backs and receivers. Unless I could snag a Marshall Faulk, Bryan Westbrook type of back early (speedy guys who can also catch and create in space, great for check downs) I might not draft a back until the 15th round of my mythical team building draft. Teams like Denver seem to be able to place almost anyone in there and they do well.

At a minimum he has got to be a leader. After that, you could go with Gunslinger Gus, lots of throws all over the field. He'll get you some big ones and he's great in a shootout but he'll break your heart with that red zone INT. Or Steady Stan, not the strong arm but makes good decisions. He won't lose you many games but he won't win you many either, Gus will do both. Stan is better coupled with a great D, Gus would be nice coupled with some stud receivers as he can use them in ways Stan can't approach. Both would be average but in very different ways. I'll crash and burn with Gus myself. except I'll have Hall of Fame Hal since I'm taking my QB first.

Yeah that was a horrible game. Final score was 34-13. It would of been a little easier to digest if Hassleback was actually playing for the seahawks. I Really like Singletary. I love his convictions and the way he coaches. I hope the niners give him a full year to help sort out this mess.

I went to my first ever NFL game Monday. My Titans won, and Hank Jr. was there. And they honored George, Wycheck and McNair at halftime. It was awesome.

I do like Singleterry but don't like that he called out Davis in the post game pressconfrence. Glad he appoligized the next day though.
Can someone please tell me what Seahawk team is the real one? Last Week looked good against my niners and this week looked dead offal against the Eagles. I am starting to think the team that showed up today is the team. To bad they are playing like this in Holmgreans last year as the coach of the hawks
Great Game between the Titans and Pack. Only caught the last quarter of the game but still good. Glad the Titans pulled it out.
