Free range turkey brined with buttermilk and Williams Sonoma Apple and Spice brine mixture, pecan and cranberry dressing, garlic mashed taters, creamy gravy, roasted brussel sprouts/carrots/green beans with garlic salt and fresh thyme, candied yams, cranberry sauce, my mom's pumpkin pie, and sparkling apple cider.

Haven't eaten yet. Still cooking. It's my first turkey! Hope it's cooked.

Tonight is bubble and squeak.

ROFLOL. We were watching a cooking show on Wed about Thanksgiving leftovers. THey took the leftover mashed taters, stuffing and turkey and made patties out of them and fried them and said it was Bubble and Squeak (somehow I thought B&S was something else). DD2 and I thought it sounded good and are going to try it some time in the next day and too. She loves the name too. All I have to do is say bubble and squeak and she gets all giggly.

We are however, having spaghetti tonight

I watched the Thanksgiving leftover show on the Food Network.

Yup, mix everything up, make patties and top with gravy and cranberry sauce. They also showed turkey Milanese. Bread your leftover turkey slices, fry crisp and top with a mushroom sauce. There's also a salad on top of that with a dressing made with pomegranate molasses. Yum!

Since my beef lovin' husband had turkey yesterday and will have turkey or pork tomorrow, I made a beef roast, baked potatoes, zucchini and tomatoes and crustless pumpkin pie.

homemade pizza

One of my friends gave me a great idea for school lunches. My pizza dough recipes makes enough for 3 rectangular pans - but we only need 2 for supper and leftovers. So, with the leftover dough - I roll it out, top it, then roll it and cut it like cinnamon buns - bake for 20 mins. Pizza pinwheels! Freeze and then just take out for school lunches. PERFECT!!!!! Our kids love it!

Me too.

We had adults only night with our home fellowship and had:
Ground Turkey tacos
pasta salad
pastry sandwhich rollup thingies from BJ's
Crab dip and crackers
chips and dip
sugar cookies

There may have been something else I ate but I don't remember.

Philly Beef and Cheese Sandwiches. The meat is simmering on the stove with onions and garlic now and it smells so good.
